We have already worked with them in the past. They are extremely creative and knowledgeable and that's why we chose them again.

We are one of the top insurance companies and our goal was to create a forward-looking vision for our customers. The process involved research and ideation, making a concept, journey mapping and ultimately telling the story of forward-looking aspirational vision. We kept interacting with the YML team frequently to get more ideas and interesting insights.
How involved were you in the whole process? How did company tackle changing requirements or budgets?
We were highly involved in the process. We built a team partnering with YML to support all aspects of creative, design and architecture work. The YML team is very flexible and they can work independently as well as an extension of our internal team.
In terms of timeline, how frequently were the milestones delivered? Were you happy with the timeline of the deliverables?
Everything was delivered on time and there was no significant alignment issue during the whole project. We are happy with YML's performance.

While we were looking for the organizations to partner with, YML came highly recommended to us by Apple as they had a good track record of designing and delivering great project experiences. Since they have worked with large firms, we knew they have the pedigree we were looking for.

Our first engagement was to build an iPhone app. They designed and developed the entire app experience starting with the information architecture, wireframing, visual designs, experience design, prototyping, and app development. Another engagement was to refresh our iPad app and they worked on redesigning it.

The first few interactions with the company were very pleasant and helped us to finalize YML for our project. They were based locally and we were also looking for an experienced local company. We wanted someone that can collaborate with our in-house engineering and product teams to work on our project.
How did the process look like? How often were you interacting with company representatives?
Syncplicity is an enterprise file sharing and synchronization service that lets business users securely access content from any device. We wanted to re-design and co-develop the Syncplicity mobile suite of apps for the iPhone and iPad. We wanted to develop best-in-class digital experiences for our enterprise customers, drive higher user engagement, and improve customer retention. We worked with a project manager, UX/UI designers, and lead engineers on a regular basis. The CEO was always approachable.

The YML team was closely embedded with our internal teams. Instead of working as an external agency, they worked as a true partner with us. Their creative and technical talent and commitment to client service were highly appreciable. We never had any issue with them during the course of our partnership and they have a massive impact on our product's success.

The project was completed within the timeline and received a positive response as well. YML understood our project and deployed their best strategies and technologies on our project. It was a pleasure to work with them.

We looked for the companies online and after finding YM labs, we followed the process of vetting them against several other companies that also operate in the same space. Y Media Labs clearly stood out amongst all the other companies and that's why we hired them.

We engaged with YML to build a portfolio of mobile apps. They worked for the development and quality assurance of our mobile offering.

Two things that made us select YML immediately were-
1. The team involved. From the CEO to the project manager assigned to us were extremely experienced.
2. When we had our first interaction with them, they made us feel very comfortable about working with them. The conversation we had with them was all about how they can help us solve our problems.
How did the process look like? How often were you interacting with company representatives?
Bill.com operates in the business payment space. Our objective was to help businesses manage their payables and receivables and we wanted to create a good mobile solution for the same. The process involved working in two teams, one for iOS and the other one for Android development. While most of the iOS team was working from the US, developers for Android were offshore. Apart from in-person sessions, we communicated with the team through emails and Slack as well.

We were frequently involved with the YML team. We worked closely with them to build a mobile portfolio. Most of our apps are available on the iOS platform. The understanding and commitment of the team towards our project was really good and we never had any issues with them throughout the process.

We are very satisfied with the timeline of the deliverables and we have seen a great engagement in both iOS and Android applications. The feedback from the users is also positive.
